Zain Dream Runs Well On Debut . . .
Although he missed out by the narrowest of margins last night in the first at Kempton Park, we were all delighted with Zain Dream’s racecourse début . . . He put in a real solid performance in the 7f, Median Auction Maiden Stakes at 5.40pm . . . He was due to have Tom Queally on board, however due to events that unfolded at Lingfield Park earlier in the day he was unable to get there in time. Steve Drowne took the ride instead and gave him a fantastic first introduction to racing . . . Having sat nicely in mid field pretty much the whole race, in the final furlong he kicked for home, catching the front runner throughout the race in the final few yards, they crossed the winning line pretty much level, all bar a nod of the head and he was called in at second place by a nose . . . He was so close to breaking his Maiden at the first time of asking however we are thrilled for his owner, Mr Al Banwan, especially as this was his first runner for us . . . This Mastercraftman colt looks to have a bright future ahead of him and we look forward to his next race in a few weeks . . .
