Weekend Runners . . .
Today we have Maglietta Fina in action at Newmarket, in what is a great race to view. She will line up for the 2.20pm, Grey horses only, 6f 0-85 Handicap stakes at Newmarket. She is a lovely racy looking grey filly, who joined us from Italy a few months ago for Mr and Mrs Agostini. She has shown some promise in her only two starts she has had for us, both at Yarmouth over 6f, on a Good to Firm going. We think she would love some cut in ground, so our fingers are crossed for a bit of rain in Newmarket today in time for the 2.20pm. .
We also have Aminah racing today. She will travel to Lingfield Park for the evening meeting there. She will load in to the stalls for the 8.00pm, 1m2f Handicap. She has Pat Dobbs in board for Malih Al Basti. We have all had to be extremely patient with this three-year-old Dubawi filly. She adores ground as soft as she can get it and 1m2f appears to be her trip on the right ground. This is the first time we have put her on the all-weather surface. We would very much prefer to get her back on turf, however we cannot seem to find her an opportunity when the ground is exactly right for her at the moment . . . Watch This Space . . .
