Week Round Up . . .
We have had a busy week all round. Runners every day, a splattering of placed efforts and producing two winners over the past two days . . .
DOLLAR VALUE put in a game performance at Chelmsford City on Thursday evening. He was stepped up to 7 furlongs which suited him perfectly, getting a super ride from Joe Fanning, to score in the colours of Mr Khalifa Dasmal. DOLLAR VALUE is another success story from our picks at the American Yearling Sales each season at Keeneland in September.
REEVES went on to score yesterday afternoon at Doncaster in Division 1 of the two-year-old Maiden over 7 furlongs. He has been promising in all his starts, improving with each and every run. He is a tough individual and one we are all looking forward to next year in the colours of Mrs Fitri Hay.
In the background we have been preparing all week for next week; which sees the Tattersalls Horses In Training sales take place and also very excitingly; POCKET DYNAMO running at the Breeders cup on Friday (2nd November) . . .
The Horses In Training sales is quite an exciting time of year for us, it is a sale we have sourced some of our best talents in our history to date. The likes of PROHBIT, GOLDREAM, LUI REI, OUTBACK TRAVELLER, INTRINSIC all came from this sale. However in order to unearth these, lots of homework needs to be done on this HUGE catalogue! POCKET DYNAMO departed yesterday for Churchill Downs, arriving safely there this morning. His groom, Ali was on stand by to welcome him and settle him in to the European quarantine stables. This is our first ever runner at the Breeders Cup and we are so exciting to see him in action next Friday (02/11/18) in the colours of Phoenix Thoroughbred Limited (He is another of our purchases from the September Keeneland Yearling Sales!) – Further details to following in the coming days of course!!… But in the meantime a photo of POCKET DYNAMO here representing team GB . . .
Runners today . . We have EVERGATE and SIR ROBERT CHEVAL both due to line up and take their respective chances in the 3.25pm at Doncaster. This is a Class 2 over the minimum distance. Both horses will no doubt, as always, give good accounts of themselves this afternoon . . .
