Two to Kempton Park and Two to Catterick Bridge….
DESERT GIFT and WADOOD left the yard early this morning on their way up north to Catterick Bridge ahead of the 2 pm Maiden Stakes race over the minimum distance. This is the second start for both two year olds and both are ready and raring to go again. Both horses needed the first start as valuable race course experience, fingers crossed they will both get a little more involved today in this relatively small field. Kevin Stott takes the reins of DESERT GIFT for Mr Jaber Abdullah and Luke Morris rides WADOOD for Mr Abdulla Al Mansoori.
Travelling later this afternoon for this evenings racing at Kempton Park are NISSER and BAHAMIAN HEIGHTS who are in the last race on the card, the 9.10 pm Handicap Stakes over 6 furlongs. BAHAMIAN HEIGHTS has had a bit of a frustrating season but ran well last time out at Chelmsford on the all weather so lets hope he does the same again today. Pat Cosgrave rides for The Morley Family and Mr and Mrs Rix. NISSER only makes his second start for the yard since joining us in the summer and this will be his first attempt on the all weather, we are sure he will take to it well. Harry Bentley rides him in the dark green silks of Saleh Al Homaizi & Imad Al Sagar.
