Robert Cowell Racing News

Tuesday…

Two year old filly CHANDRESH makes her third start today at Catterick Bridge. She has shown improvement for those two runs and has been working well here at home.  Our feeling is that she will go better on the slightly softer ground. She races at 2pm in the Median Auction Maiden Stakes with Graham Lee on board for Manor Farm Stud. Two year old colt ZAIN EMPEROR makes his second start in the next race at 2.30pm.  He ran really well on debut 12 days ago at Haydock.  This horse has a super engine and should show up well today as long as we have not bought him back too soon.  Graham Lee takes this ride too for Mr Asaad Al Banwan.

DESERT COMMAND and INDIAN TINKER travel to Yarmouth for the 4.50pm Handicap Stakes.  DESERT COMMAND tired easily last time out on awful ground at Epsom, the firmer ground conditions will definitely be move favorable for him today.  Andrea Atzeni takes the ride for the Hadida family.  INDIAN TINKER would normally prefer the softer ground but we are willing to take a chance with him today as he is fresh and fighting fit. Marc Monaghan gets the leg up for Mr Jeffrey Sargeant.
