Today’s runners and two new purchases….

We have two runners off on their travels today.  FREEZONE races at 4pm this afternoon in the Handicap Stakes at York.  He ran well on his last trip out at Newmarket on ground that was too fast for him. He is coming back to form and we are hoping that the slightly softer ground York has to offer should suit him better today.  Joe Fanning will be on board for fromthestables.com .  STUNNED has travelled to Ascot for the 4.10pm Handicap Stakes. He too ran well last time out at Newmarket and has had most of his starts this year on the All Weather Track at Chelmsford where he has run consistently well.  He will appreciate the extra furlong we have given him today.  He is due a win again soon and surely it would be nice to do so at the beautiful Ascot.  Graham Lee will take the ride for Mr Malih Al Basti.

We have made two very exciting new purchases at the Tattersalls Sales. Yesterday we secured Lot 336 BAHAMIAN HEIGHTS a 4 year old bay gelding for our existing, successful joint owners Mr Thomas Morley and Mr and Mrs Rix.  He looks to be a promising individual with an excellent profile.

Today we purchased DESERT COMMAND Lot 607 a 5 year old bay gelding.  He is an OASIS DREAM sprinter who has spent his life with Andrew Balding.  He is a good looking horse and we hope to continue to win a race or two this year for his new owner Richard Hadida and family.

We look forward to welcoming both the horses and the Hadida family to our yard.
