Our first runner left the yard early this morning to travel the fair distance up to Redcar for the 2.25 pm 6 furlong Fillies Novice Stakes. Vikivaki probably needed her last trip out at Southwell to get back into the swing, she looks in good order here at home and we feel should do well today, we have added a visor for the first time to see if this helps her. Good luck to Pat Cosgrave who gets the leg up for Mr Tom Morley.
Onto this evenings meeting at Chelmsford with two runners. Global Exceed heads to post at 6.55 pm in the 6 furlong Handicap, he has been relatively consistent on the all weather this season, he will wear a visor for the first time, he is a hard worker and lets see if he can get himself involved before he heads to the sales tomorrow. Cieren Fallon rides for Dr Johnny Hon.
Onto the Listed Fillies Stakes at 7.25 pm over 6 furlongs where we have Blame Roberta who has been a little unlucky on her last couple of starts just missing out on the places in Listed company at Bath and Chantilly. She is a plucky filly and will give it her best shout today we are sure. Hayley Turner is back on board in the colours of Mr Khalifa Dasmal.
