Three today…
Two horses left the yard yesterday afternoon to make their way up to Newcastle ahead of racing today, they enjoyed a nice overnight stay and are fresh and fit and raring to run. DOUBLE SPIN and KODIAC PEARL go off together in the 5.10 pm Maiden Stakes race over the minimum trip. Both horses are looking great and have been putting in some good work here at home, so lets hope they can get themselves involved in the action today. Danny Tudhope is on board DOUBLE SPIN for Newsells Park Stud and Luke Morris gets the leg up onto KODIAC PEARL for The Cool Silks Partnership. Good luck to both horses, jockeys and connections.
A bit closer to home at Nottingham this afternoon in the 61-75 Handicap Stakes at 5pm we see RAINBOW ORSE make his seasonal debut, we needed the softer ground for this horse and it looks to be perfect conditions up there for him. He has a great history on this track so fingers crossed it will be to his liking again today. Jim Crowley is in the saddle for Mr Glen Johnson.
