Three for a Racecourse Gallop….
We are taking three horses up the road to the Rowley Mile this afternoon for a racecourse gallop after the second day of the Craven Meeting has finished. JUSTINEO, TOOFI and SPIRIT QUARTZ will enjoy a nice run out and blow those cobwebs away since none of them have seen a racecourse since last Summer. We have in mind the Palace House Stakes for JUSTINEO and SPIRIT QUARTZ which will be held over the Guineas weekend at Newmarket so it will be good to see them gain a bit of an insight into the track ahead of their entries. TOOFI is a couple of weeks behind but it will be good to see him in action again before deciding on a suitable plan for him. Jamie Spencer will ride SPIRIT QUARTZ for Ecurie La Boetie having already built up a good relationship with him back in 2013 when we trained him prior to him moving to France. Andrea Atzeni rides JUSTINEO and our very own head lad Ross Studholme will take the reins on TOOFI both horses owned by Saleh Al Homaizi & Imad Al Sagar.
After the gallop Robert will head to Tattersalls for day 2 of the Craven Breeze Up Sales. No purchases were made yesterday so we will update the page tomorrow with any news.
