The Guineas Festival 2013 . . .
This weekend in Newmarket we have The Guineas Festival taking place on Saturday and Sunday.
We have two runners on Saturday; Spirit Quartz & Kingsgate Native are engaged to run in The Palace House Stakes, at 2.35pm, it is a Group 3 event over 5f. Spirit Quartz has Joseph O’Brien on board in the Qatar Racing colours, he will carry the Gold cap, Qatar Racings’ second set. Kingsgate Native will have Shane Kelly back in the saddle, carrying Cheveley Park Stud colours.
Sunday we will have Goldream running in the Class 2 Handicap sprint at 3.10pm. William Buck takes the ride in what will be Goldream’s first start of us and of 2013 . . .
