Suehail Wins At Kempton Park . . .
We were absolutely thrilled to see SUEHAIL in the winners enclosure on his seasonal début last night at Kempton Park . . . He ran a cracking race in the 9.00pm, 1m Handicap Stakes. Pat Dobbs gave him a very patient and perfect ride from the back of the field to weave his way through and storm home in the final furlong. He is one that seems to loves the all-weather surface, although for one reason or another he is very lightly raced on the grass so we are yet to know if he races just as well fresh on the turf – Hopefully we will find out more in the coming months . . .
Today we have NAIVASHA back in action following her emphatic win at Catterick Bridge two-weeks-ago. She loved the Soft conditions that day. This is her first try at a handicap and the ground is just about right at Good to Soft today at Bath. However it is an evening meeting, she races at 6.20pm and it may well have dried out a little further by then which might not necessarily be in her favour. She has Richard Hughes in the saddle today for Lady Lonsdale and Lowther Racing . . .
