Spirit Quartz Runs A Big Group One Race . . .
We were all delighted with Spirit Quartz run yesterday in the Group 1, The Coolemore Nunthorpe Stakes at York’s Ebor Festival yesterday, for Qatar Racing Limited.
He finished 2nd again to multiple Group winning Australian filly, Ortensia, trained by Paul Messara. Spirit Quartz ran a great race in what was a very fast and furious affair in one of the biggest races in the sprint calender.
He will now look to head to one of his Early Closing Group entries at Longchamp . . .
