Spirit Quartz Lands Group 2 At Chantilly . . .
We were delighted to witness Spirit Quartz land his first Group victory for Qatar Racing Limited. He pulled off the lovely win yesterday, 2nd June at Chantilly, the Prix du Gros-Chene over 5f. She broke from a bad, wide draw very quickly, sat in 2nd place, until Jamie Spencer saw the opportunity to surge him forward while everything else appeared to come under a little pressure. Spirit Quartz picked up wonderfully, going clear to win nicely and claim first spot . . . He is now on target for Royal Ascot on Tuesday 18th June . . .
