SOUTHERN BELLE wins at Nottingham…and three travel to Yarmouth
We were delighted to see SOUTHERN BELLE win the Fillies Handicap Stakes race at Nottingham last night in nice style, she is a lovely filly and we look forward to an exciting future for her. Well done to her owner Mr Ahmed Jaber and all connections.
Three runners have just left the yard en route to the seaside course at Great Yarmouth. CAPTAIN BOB is first off tonight in the 7.20 pm Handicap Stakes, he looked good last week at Beverley and could have done a bit better had he not struggled at the start. We are trying a hood for the first time today. This horse deserves a break lets hope he can get it today. Sylvestre de Sousa rides for The Captain Bob Partnership. Next off in the 7.50 pm Fillies Handicap Stakes is COSMOPOLITAN GIRL who has started her yard career with us very successfully with a win on debut at Bath in June and a second last month at Ascot. We anticipate good things from her again today. Martin Harley gets the ride for Saleh Al Homaizi & Imad Al Sagar. Lastly EDITH WESTON who continues her campaign in the 8.20 pm Handicap Stakes, her form is out there for all to see, she always tries her hardest and she is ridden again today by Jimmy Quinn in the silks of Miss Sheila Hoare.
