Snowy Morning . . .

We woke early this morning to a very cold and snowy scene . . . Luckily it was only a thin covering on the ground, but never the less the five lots went out in the show showers to do their work on the gallops as usual this morning . . .

The whole team are now back in full work, with the likes of  GOLDREAM, FREE ZONE, KINGSGATE NATIVE, NORMAL EQUILIBRIUM, IFFRANESIA and DUKE OF FIRENZE to name but a few familiar horses from the older group that have had winter holidays on the stud.  It is great to see them back out with the string to gear up for their 2015 campaign . . . This is the time of year when all the ground work and fitness work is done with them all from the two-year-olds through to the more mature ones . . . It is not only interesting to see the younger ones start to take shape but also the older ones that were purchased from the Horses In Training sales and also new recruits.  A few names to look out for this season that are new to us would be SECRETINTHE PARK, DORNOCH and STUNNED – All three on paper are exciting types . . .
