Shergar Cup Day at Ascot . . .
We have two running in the first race on the card at Ascot for Shergar Cup day . . . GREEN DOOR and SECRETINTHEPARK will both line up for the Dash at 12.55pm . . . It is a novel and exciting days racing there today. No horse runs in their normal owners colours, instead they are randomly selected in to four teams – English & Irish, Girls, European and The rest of the world . . . We have Jamie Spencer on GREEN DOOR (in Green team colours) and we have Kerrin McEvoy on SECRETINTHEPARK (in Yellow team colours) . . . GREEN DOOR is new to us and making his stable début. He should appreciate this drop back to 5 furlongs and hopefully will run a solid race. He is one to keep an eye on throughout the rest of the season . . .SECRETINTHEPARK has been running some very decent races since joining us. Unlucky on a few of those occasions and we are learning all the time about this game horse. We are hopeful of a big run today . . .
CLASSIC ROSES makes her racecourse début today up at Redcar in the 2.50pm. She is ready and raring to go and we hope will give an encouraging account of herself today . . .
