We are very much looking forward to seeing INTRINSIC race in the 32RED Cup Handicap Stakes; Which was formal and most well known as The Stewards Cup, a 6f Heritage Handicap race . . . INTRINSIC is a striking son of Oasis Dream, a sire whom we have had a lot of success with in the past in big races – JWALA (Group 1), GOLDREAM (Heritage Handicap) and PROHIBIT (Group 1) to name but a few . . . He is in super order at home and has been patiently waiting for this race, having missed out to race in The Wokingham at Royal Ascot in June . . . The ground is Good to Firm, they were due quite a bit of rain today but it has not arrived as yet. He would love a bit of cut in the ground as he handles it so well, but he will take his chance today from stall number 22 as chosen by us in the ‘Live’ draw on Thursday at the track after declaration were made . . . Richard Hughes retains the ride in the White and Pink epaulet colours of Malih Al Basti . . .
We also have YA HALLA racing today on her second racecourse appearance up at Thrisk in the 1.55pm, Maiden over 5f . . . Being a DARK ANGEL filly she will relish the rain they have had today . . . She has Ahmad Al Subousi, claiming 7lb in the saddle for Mr Sultan Ali . . .
