WE have two runners heading north today . . .
SAMSAMSAM makes his seasonal début in the 7.15pm, 6f Median Auction Maiden Stakes at Doncaster . . . He has been gelded and had a good winters holiday since his last race at Lingfield Park, when he just disappointed us on an opportunity we thought him capable of taking advantage of. However he kicks off his 2015 campaign today . . .
FREE ZONE also makes his seasonal début up at Thirsk today in the 4.50pm, 5f Handicap sprint . . . He is in good heart at home and is now ready to kick his season off. Tom Eaves gets the leg up for the Fromthestable.com partnership . . .
We were delighted last week to see the arrival of SPEED HAWK back in the yard again having set off for Dubai on the 22nd December 2014! . . . He had a solid winters racing at the Carnival and World Cup. He looks in super condition and it is fantastic to have his big personality back in the yard once again!! . . . We hope he will get back racing all being well at the end of this month . . .
