Robert Cowell Racing News

Saturday and Sunday

Saturday sees Raucous and Visionary go up against each other at Newcastle in the 6 furlong 81-100 Handicap at 12.20 pm.  Visionary of late has gone better on the all weather tracks, he is paired up with our stable jockey and regular work rider Jonny Fisher in the hope they can use his apprentice allowance to its full advantage.  Good luck to Mr Khalifa Dasmal.  Raucous was placed in a big field last time out at Chelmsford and won the time before at Goodwood.  He certainly always puts in the maximum and we have no doubt will do his best tomorrow, ably partnered by PJ McDonald in the colours of Mr Tom Morley.

Onto our two runners at Windsor.  First off at 2.25 pm and making her eagerly awaited debut is Victors Lady in the 5 furlong Novice Stakes.  She has been showing us she knows her job at home so lets see how she gets on for her first bit of racecourse action.  John Egan rides in the colours of Mr Paul Hunt.  In the next race at 3 pm Blame Roberta heads to post for only her second start after a promising debut at Yarmouth in April.  She is ready to get back out and show us what she can do.  Keiran Shoemark rides in the pink silks of Mr Khalifa Dasmal.

Just the one runner on Sunday.  Grandfather Tom heads to Windsor for the 3pm 76-95 Handicap Stakes over 5 furlongs.  Its a small field so ideal for him to get himself back involved and back to his winning form.  Fingers crossed!  Good luck to Jonny Fisher onboard for Mr Jeff Sargeant.
