Runners Today . . .

We have several runners today . . .

DARK DIAMOND set off first this morning to Southwell.  He will race in the 1.30pm over 1 mile.  He holds a sales entry in the Tattersalls Guineas Horses In Training sale on Friday.  He is a likeable character in the yard and fingers crossed he can take his chance today . . .

We then have three fillies travelling together up to Wolverhampton for this evenings meeting . . .

MOST TEMPTING makes her seasonal début in the 6.50pm, over 6 furlongs . . . She raced on this surface a few times last season and seemed to handle it well.  Ideally we would have liked a 5 furlongs race for her, however this is a good starting point for her this season . . .

FALSIFY and DECISIVE race together in the 7.20pm, 6 furlong Maiden . . . Both are having there first careers starts today . . .

FALSIFY is from a fast family, bred by one of our owners, Manor Farm Stud, however is  now owned by Mr Quinn, Mr Benham and Mr Saunders.  She has taken her time to come to the race track due to a few little growing pains, however she now heads to Wolverhampton tonight in super condition.  She may well drop down to 5 furlongs in time . . .

DECISIVE was purchased and is owned by Cheveley Park Stud.  She has a smart pedigree and initially started her training career in the hands of Richard Hannon Jnr, however had some growing pains also and has since been given time and a change of scene . . . This début experience will do her the world of good . . .
