Runners Spread Around! . . .

We have several runners coming up around the country and abroad . . .

Three runners today.  Two at Chelmsford City tonight.  ZAMJAR in the 8.15pm and COMPTON POPPY in the 8.45pm.  ZAMJAR is a course and distance winner.  He loves the all-weather surfaces. He is not too badly drawn tonight in stall number 5, out of seven runners.  Last run at the track he was drawn widest of all and it was only that bad draw that beat him on this tight course . . .  COMPTON POPPY is a lovely filly, whom is pretty consistent, we would just love her to get her head in front tonight for all her connections to cheer home in the last . . . We also have one runner at Haydock Park at 3.15pm, BLUE DE VEGA.  He is a very capable horse and on his day will always be there or thereabouts.  He has been gelded since his win at Ascot.  He will not mind the conditions today and we would hope he will run a nice race.

OCELOT has been sent on her way this morning to Scotland for the 3.45pm tomorrow at Musselburgh.  It is a Confined Conditions Handicap, for horses that have not won this season.  She fits this bracket nicely in the grade.  For the long trip we will be very hopefully she will come back home having broken those race conditions!

BLAME ROBERTA also loaded a horsebox this morning for France.  She travels across the channel in search for that all important Black Type for fillies.  She is a lovely, scopey two year old by BLAME, out of a family we had a hand in breeding.  She has won her last two here in the UK and an event like this is certainly not out of her reach.  She races at 2.35pm UK Time at Chantilly on Monday . . .
