Runners News Today . . .
Today we have two runners . . . NORMAL EQUILIBRIUM bids to back up his win last week at Lingfield Park when he races today in the 1.45pm at York. It is a step up in class, however he likes the track and the going will be in his favour so fingers crossed he can put in a similar performance today. Ryan Tate, claiming 5lbs will be on board today in the colours of Mrs J Morley . . . We will then have SIR PEDRO back here in the last race of the day at Newmarket, the 8.35pm, 5f Handicap. He has been racing well without winning. He has a quirky personality at the races, so we will aim to keep him positive, focused and hope he can deliver for his owner, Tom Morley this evening. He will have Oisin Murphy in the saddle . . .
