Runners news . . .
WESTBOURNE GROVE makes his career début tonight at Windsor in the 6.20pm, 5f furlong, two-year-old Maiden . . . He is a horse we purchased on behalf of his owners, Mr Quinn, Mr Benham and Mr Saunders as a yearling at the American, Keeneland sales last September . . .He is a good bodied, strong colt that has plenty of speed – Of course, he will come on for this initial experience, however we expect him to give a good début account of himself today with Richard Hughes in the saddle . . .
Sadly, we had no luck at Bath on Saturday – Both Fillies were drawn wide and broke slowly . . . QUIET BEAUTY in particular was than rushed off her feet. Bath is a clear front runners track and after one furlong our fate was sealed! She will now gain a handicap mark, and we will look for a suitable opening for her in a few weeks time . . . JUMEIRAH STAR gave another good account of herself on her second career start. She got a little hampered in the final furlong, which cost her a place or two. Despite this we were pleased with her performance . . . Both fillies are having some earned timed out in the paddocks to unwind for a day or two . . .
