Runner News Today . . .
We have two runners today . . . CARDINAL is first up in the 2.30pm, 5f Handicap at Leicester. All his connection have had to been extremely patient in the last few weeks, as he loves the softer conditions. It seemed every time we declared him and rain was due, it typically never appeared! Today we have got what we have waited for, it is currently Soft, Heavy in places at Leicester which will suit him perfectly. He has Tom Eaves back on board and we hope he can get his nose in front today and bring home another winner . . . We then have ROYAL ACQUISITION in at Lingfield Park at 2.40pm on the all-weather surface. Having ran a great race there three weeks ago, he just got pipped at the post on that occasion. He seems to far prefer the synthetic surfaces rather than the grass, we hope he can manage to adopt the same tactic as last time and he has Jim Crowley once again on board . . .
