Royal Acquisition, Comedy night and our busy weekend ahead….
ROYAL ACQUISITION was dropped into a claimer at Wolverhampton yesterday where he behaved himself impeccably and finished in a respectable third place.
COMEDY NIGHT left the yard early this morning to travel up to North Yorkshire. He runs in the 1.40pm EBF Maiden Stakes at Catterick Bridge. He ran well first time out at Brighton then flat at Leicester on his second trip. He has had a little time off and this time out we are hoping for a good solid performance.
We have two runners on their way to France as we speak. IFFRANESIA and SPEED HAWK will go head to head in the five furlong listed Prix Hampton race at Chantilly tomorrow. Meanwhile back in the UK it is Derby day! DUKE OF FIRENZE, FREE ZONE and NORMAL EQUILIBRIUM all travel to Epsom for the Investec Dash at 3.45pm. SECRET IN THE PARK travels a bit later in the day for the 5.50pm Handicap Stakes.
