Racing Today . . .
We have three runners today . . . THUMPER and SIR PEDRO line up at Leicester this afternoon and MARCH travels to Windsor for this evenings racing . . . THUMPER is in action for his third career start at 2.15pm; 6f, Maiden Stakes. Having raced twice over 5f, he is suggesting to us that he does need a step up in trip and that he may like some cut in the ground. He gets both this afternoon!! He has Jamie Spence on board for Qatar Racing Limited . . . SIR PEDRO races in the 6f, Selling Stakes at 2.45pm. Having been a monkey on his last few starts in the stalls, he has to have our head lad travel with him to see him in to the gate with our stalls blanket on him to help him keep as calm as possible. He has Graham Lee in the saddle for Mr T W Morley this afternoon . . . We then have MARCH in action at Windsor this evening for the 6f, Listed event. We have waited and waited with her to get the right ground. We hope all will suit this evening. It is a tough contest tonight, but we hope she will run well again for Al Asyal Bloodstock and Steve Drowne . . .
