Preparation For Our Nunthorpe Stakes Runners . . .
Kingsgate Native galloping
This morning all three of our Group 1, Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes entries put in some preparation work for their up and coming engagement next Friday.
Kingsgate Native worked this morning on the gallops in Newmarket. He galloped over half a mile. He looked very composed, relaxed and joined his lead horse very easily. Although he has been off the racetrack for sometime he should put in a good performance on Friday. He will have Ryan Moore on board for The Nunthorpe.
Monsieur Joe breezed this morning over half a mile on his own. He only ran two weeks ago, when winning the Listed event at Deauville. This was only a ticking over piece of work, he certainly looks in great form and is thriving. We have once again booked Richard Mullen to partner him on Friday.
On the back of running a very good race to finish 2nd to Ortensia in the Group 2, The King George at Goodwood two weeks ago, Spirit Quartz also worked over half a mile here on our gallops at home. This morning he looked to be doing his work easily, he is a very hard working, consistent horse who we are sure will put his all in again for The Nunthorpe Stakes on Friday. He has Frankie Dettori booked.
