Our Runners And The Start Of Glorious Goodwood . . .
This afternoon we have two runners up on the Norfolk Coast today. Maglietta Fina and Marmalade Moon line up at 3.15pm and 5.00pm respectively at Yarmouth.
Maglietta Fina put in a decent debut performance for us at the same venue two weeks ago. We hope she can find some improvement on that form today. Marmalade Moon bids to crack her elusive maiden for her owners and breeders Lord and Lady Crawshaw . . . Finger Crossed . . .
Today sees the start of the very Glorious Goodwood festival meeting. It is always a highlight on the calendar. We hope to have a handful of runners during this lovely meeting. We may have two or three in the Group 2, King George Stakes on Friday. We have our fingers crossed Goldream will sneak in to the Stewards Cup on Saturday (if not he may well contest in the consolation race on the same day). Normal Equilibrium also holds an entry for the three-year-old handicap on Saturday . . . A Glorious Goodwood winner would be very special indeed . . .
