Royal Ascot….

Two horses are settled in nicely ahead of this afternoons opening day of Royal Ascot. Dutch Uncle starts proceedings in the 2.30 pm Queen Anne Stakes over 1 mile.  He has been a last minute addition to act as pacemaker for Lightning Spear. Martin Harley rides in the second colours of Qatar Racing.

Moving on to the Kings Stand Stakes at 3.40 pm where we have the simply stunning 8 year old Goldream poised for action again.  He won this race back in 2015 which he swiftly followed up with the Abbaye at Longchamp, he had a fairly quiet 2016 where mainly the weather hampered his chances.  2017 so far has started well with a third in the Palace House at Newmarket and second in the Temple Stakes at Haydock.   He is in superb order and we are all anticipating a great run from him today. The fast ground is perfect for him, he has a good draw and Martin Harley is back on board.  Everything is looking to be in his favour.  I have no doubt all the team will be watching with baited breath this afternoon and we have everything crossed for Mrs Morley, Tom Morley and Mr Jeff Sargeant.
