Nottingham And Lingfield Park Runners . . .

This morning we did have seven runners today . . .

Six at Nottingham and one at Lingfield Park  . . .

Sadly CARDINAL (7.55pm) amd SPEED HAWK (7.25pm) had to be made non-runners this morning at Nottingham due to the ground drying out up there for this evenings meeting . . .

We still have THUMPER lined up for the 5.25pm, Nursery Handicap Stakes over 6f.  He has Jamie Spencer on board for Qatar Racing Limited.  Ideally this Namid colt would want the ground as Soft as it will go, it is drying out but he is ready to run . . .

DUKE OF FIRENZE, FREE ZONE and GRAPHIC GUEST all aim to contest for the Conditions race at 7.25pm . . .

DUKE OF FIRENZE is a talented horse who has been off the racetrack for some time.  He is fit a raring to go,  and this race today will do him the world of good on his come back.  He looks in fantastic condition and the ground will suit, racing in the Red, White and Blue colours of Cheveley Park Stud.  Jim Crowley takes the ride . . .

FREE ZONE, is currently on his last winning mark, and having run well last time out he is in good order and should run a big race, on ideal ground and with Frankie Dettori in the saddle . . .

GRAPHIC GUEST has been waiting in the wings a long time to race again.  She needs the ground to be Soft.  It is drying out but we will continue to monitor it right up until race time . . . She has  Adam Beschizza booked to take the reins for Mr J Webb . . .

ARCTIC LYNX travelled solo down to Lingfield Park for the 6.35pm, 6f Handicap Stakes . . . Having run some cracking races at the start of the turf season.  He has since seemed to have gone off the boil, but today we send him back to the consistent surface of the all-weather . . . He will have George Baker in the saddle for Mrs J Morley . . .
