Moonspring Strikes again! . . .

MOONSPRING put in a real steely performance last night at Kempton Park in the rain . . . Having won exactly a week ago at the same track, in the same type of race and over the same trip.  She ran last night with a 6lb penalty for that victory, however we tried to counterbalance that slightly by booking talented 3lb claimer, Oisin Murphy.  We were not sure how she would react running back to back races so close together, as we had never tried this with her before, but we felt it worth a try as she was due to go up 8lb in the handicap anyway.  We were a little worse off in the stalls last night, however she coped amazingly, cruising along with another as a front pair all the way.  She just quickened in the final few hundred metres, sticking her neck out to win by a nose! . . . We are absolutely thrilled for all her owners, P Foster and Friends.  They sent her to us in January.  She broke her maiden on the first time of asking for us and has since won four out of her five races since arriving . . .

This evening we have SUEHAIL in action at Kempton Park in the 9.00pm, 1m, Handicap Stakes for Malih Al Basti.  Having been of the track for a little while it will be great to see him back in action.  Pat Dobbs takes the ride this evening in the White with Pink Epaulet colours . . .
