London Marathon 2014 – Qatar Racing Team For Racing Welfare . . .
Robert will be one eighth of the “Qatar Racing” team which will be taking part in the 2014 Virgin London Marathon in aid of Racing Welfare. The team is made up of Sheikh Fahad Al Thani, David Redvers (Sheikh Fahad’s racing Manager), and six of Sheikh Fahad’s trainers – Andrew Balding, Charlie Hills, Olly Stevens, Richard Hannon Jr, David Simcock and of course, Robert . . .

Balding and Hills fancied to blitz Marathon
ANDREW BALDING and Charlie Hills have been installed the 3/1 joint favourites by Ladbrokes to win the battle of the trainers in this year’s London Marathon.
The Magic Sign have priced up the six trainers in Sheikh Fahad’s Qatar Racing team following confirmation that they will be raising money for Racing Welfare.
Richard Hannon Jr is the rank outsider in the betting at 12/1.
David Williams of Ladbrokes said: “We’re betting without David Redvers as his course and distance form could skew the market.
“The Champion Hurdle market looks compressed at the top end but it’s not a patch on this. Only a shock win for Richard Hannon would come as a really major surprise.”
Ladbrokes will donate the winnings of a £200 charity stake to Racing Welfare on the SP of the winning trainer. The firm have already gone non runner no bet on the heat.
