Lingfield and Yarmouth
Jewel of the Sea is the first of today’s runners she has arrived at Lingfield and will go to post at 1.30 pm in the 6 furlong Nursery Handicap. She has definitely been showing us signs of maturity here at home and out on the tracks and we hope she will put in a good account of herself today. She is partnered today by Tom Marquand for all connections of GB Horseracing.
Onto Yarmouth where Grandfather Tom heads to post at 4.50 pm in the 71-85 5 furlong Handicap. He enjoyed a succession of 4 wins on the trot at the beginning of the year on the all weather and has since been a bit unpredictable although he ran well last time out at Yarmouth having to settle for second spot. He is a super horse and it would be great to see him back to his winning ways. Stable jockey Eoin Walsh is back in the saddle for Jeff Sargeant.
