Kingsgate Native Heads To Newbury . . .
Today Kingsgate Native will head to Newbury for the Dubai Airport World Trophy, the Group 3 over 5f at 3.30pm. The ground has been Soft all week long, it has started to dry out and is currently Soft, Good to Soft in places. We hope by racing it will have dried out a little further, as we all know he tends to loves quick ground, however he did not seem to mind a softer surface at York for The Nunthrope in August when the ground came up Good to Soft. Shane Kelly is on board as normal in the colours of Cheveley Park Stud. He ran a super race in this very race last year, just getting hampered at a crucial moment, finishing 2nd. All connections would be thrilled if he could go one better today. . . .
