We were delighted with the performance from Kingsgate Native on Saturday. It was a photo finish and he missed out by a very narrow margin. He did not get a clear run during the race which ultimately cost him being crowned the winner of the Group3, The Dubai International Airport World Trophy at Newbury this weekend – Neither the less we were thrilled with his second race for us.
This afternoon we have two runners. Valley Of Wings at Kempton Park in the 2.50pm, 7f Median Auction Maiden Stakes. He has Shane Kelly on board in the colours of Mr Keith Robinson. We then have R Woody in the 4.00pm, 5f, 81-95 Handicap Stakes at Leicester. It has rained non-stop for the past 24 hours and the ground should be Soft by racing which should not inconvenience him at all. He has William Buick in the saddle in the colours of Quintessential Thoroughbred Solar Syndicate.
