JOYFUL DAY and MORE SPICE to Southwell….
JOYFUL DAY is our first to go this afternoon at Southwell in the Maiden Stakes at 12.30pm. This is his second start after making his debut at Wolverhampton last month where he showed good speed but was too green to do himself justice. He will have learnt from that experience and should take a step forward today if he can handle the track. Tom Eaves rides for Mr Abdulla Al Mansoori.
MORE SPICE is next up in the 3pm Handicap Stakes. He has not had a run since March where he showed little bits of form. He begins his handicap today off a lowly mark and we feel he could make his presence felt. Tom Eaves takes this ride too for Mr Khalifa Dasmal.
