Haydock Park And Catterick Bridge Today . . .

We have three runners at Haydock Park.  KINGSGATE NATIVE bids to win the Group 2,  Temple Stakes for a third time this afternoon at 2.40pm . . . Having won it earlier in his career, he won it again as an eight-year-old last season for us.  He is in super form at home and looks fantastic in himself.  He ran a storming race at Newmarket in the Group 3, Palace House stakes on Guineas weekend.  He finished second on that occasion, just as he did last year.  Lets hope history can repeat it’s self this afternoon.  He is partnered again with Jim Crowley in the well know Red, White and Blue colours of Cheveley Park Stud . . . We then have two in the 6f,  Fillies Listed event at 3.10pm at Haydock . . . MARCH and GRAPHIC GUEST will line up together.  MARCH is a very speedy daughter of Dutch Art who looks a smart prospect.  The going and trip should suit her down to the ground today and she has Andrea Atzeni back on board in the Red and Black colours of Al Asayl Bloodstock . . . GRAPHIC GUEST is also a daughter of Dutch Art who made an impact on her début for us a few weeks ago at Nottingham for a conditions race, where she was just beaten by Hot Streak on that occasion over 5f.  She seems to love a bit of cut in the ground and will take her chance today with Jim Crowley in the saddle . . .

We then have just the one runner up at Catterick Bridge this afternoon.  NAIVASHA will attempt to break her maiden at the third time of asking in the 4.35pm, Median Auction Maiden stakes over 5f.  She ran once as a two-year-old at the back end of the year.  She then had a winter off out in our paddocks with a few companions and she seems to have come back in to training bigger and stronger.  She ran very well on her seasonal debut two-weeks-ago at Southwell.  She will like the soft conditions up at Catterick today and we do hope she will go very close this afternoon.  She will have 3lb claimer, Michael J M Murphy taking the reins for Lady Lonsdale in the White, Yellow and Red colours of Lowther Racing . . .
