GREEN DOOR storms to victory at Beverley….

We are extremely privileged to have another winner for Pearl Bloodstock and their four year old GREEN DOOR who romped home yesterday afternoon in the 3pm British Stallions Studs Eddie and Violet Smith EBF Conditions Stakes. He got a good start and powered clear and he seemed to just get quicker and quicker, particularly in the final furlong leaving all his competitors in his wake.

GREEN DOOR’S jockey Daniel Tudhope said: “He’s a gorgeous beast. He bounded out well and was always going to take some pegging back from the front. He was always going to take some catching on that dead ground.”

Robert Cowell said: “It’s great to see him back to something like his best. I’ve no specific plans for him – I’ll have to talk to his owners – but I would say we’ll step him up in grade. ”

Our other runner yesterday JUMEIRAH STAR ran a good race last night at Kempton Park on the All Weather Track, it would seem she just did not see the competition coming down the track, she will improve for the experience and we have no doubt she will be one to watch as a three year old.

No runners today….
