Grand Beauty Breaks Maiden . . .

We are all delighted to see GRAND BEAUTY loose her Maiden tag at Newcastle yesterday on what was the racecourses’ final day of turf racing before they transform it in to an all-weather track over the winter . . . Having been sent to us by her owner, Mr Jaber Abdullah.  She had a wonderful winters holiday out on our stud to unwind and relax from training.  It was evident on resuming training with us that she retained what ability she had shown as a two-year-old.  However having frustrated going in the the starting gates at the races, she was ordered to do a stall test in August.  With the great help of Gary Witheford and his team, she passed this with flying colours and has since behaved in the preliminaries and at the starting stalls . . . Yesterday she cruised along to grab victory with ease – It was fantastic to see this well bred daughter of Kheleyf get this vital win under her belt . . . Fingers crossed onwards and upwards . . .

Sadly due to ground conditions at Haydock Park, GREEN DOOR has had to been made a non-runner for the 3.10pm there today . . . Fingers crossed for some better ground for him soon . . .
