Goldream Grabs Group 3 . . .

GOLDREAM has made it a double by clinching victory on Guineas weekend at Newmarket once again for the second year running! . . . Last year it was in the Class 2, 6f Handicap.  This year he has gone up another level and won the Group 3, Palace House Stakes, on the Saturday of the first Classic meeting of the season . . .

We are delighted for his owners Mr J Sargeant and Mrs J Morley.  They were all there to witness him storm home to win under a well judged ride from Martin Harley . . .

He has been working well at home since returning to training following a holiday out on the stud during the winter months.  We had even made a big early closing entry for him in the Kings Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot of which closed a week previous to this race.  He looked to have improved in his sixth year, however you never quite 100% know once on the race track if they will indeed be able to win at this level.  We are thrilled he has proved he can and is likely to head to The Temple Stakes at the end of May and then perhaps on to Royal Ascot in June . . . A very exciting time for all his connections . . .

We were equally delighted with KINGSGATE NATIVE’s performance in the race . . . As a ten-year-old he has proved he can still cut it at this high level, finishing third . . . He ran on gamely in the final stages of the race and seems to have proved what we see in the mornings, that he retains his enthusiasm for racing! . . . He too is likely to head to The Temple Stakes, a race he has won twice in his career to date . . .

The Palace House race can be viewed on the video link below . . .
