Friday to Newcastle…
Encor D’Or and Blue De Vega left the yard early this morning to beat the weekend traffic heading up North to Newcastle. They will be there nice and early and will be settled and relaxed ahead of racing this evening. They go down together for the 6.35 pm Gosforth Park Handicap over the minimum distance. Blue De Vega ran really well in the Dash on Derby day to finish 3rd but has not seen a win in almost a year, lets hope Jim Crowley can work his magic and get him back in the winners circle. Encor D’Or has also been working hard on his last few starts, his last win was on same course and distance in January. He does some of his best work on the all weather, fingers crossed Dylan Hogan can jump him well and stay involved. Both horses run in the yellow and black colours of Mrs Morley with Blue De Vega in the alternative hat colour who is also owned by Glen Johnson and Newsells Park Stud.
