Friday and Saturdays runners…
Misty Spirit is York bound for us today, she runs at 5.05 pm in the 76-90 Handicap Stakes over the minimum trip. This will be her seasonal debut and her first run for us. She knows her job and has been working nicely here at home so she is ready for a bit more racecourse action. Paul Hanagan rides in the pink and navy silks of Lordship Stud…
Onto Saturday where we have Blue De Vega heading Northbound to Thirsk for the 5 furlong 86-100 Handicap Stakes at 5.05pm, this horse is super speedy here on the gallop in the mornings, he just needs to replicate that out on the track fingers crossed tomorrow will be his day!? PJ McDonald rides for the Blue De Vega partnership.
Closer to home at Newmarket Mr Pocket and Ocelot go to post together in the 5 furlong 5.35 pm 71-85 Handicap Stakes. We were delighted to see Mr Pocket win on debut for the yard at the beginning of May at Brighton, Franny Norton is back on board – lets hope they can make it two on the trot for owning partnership Mrs Morley, Mr Penney and Mr and Mrs Rix. Ocelot won three almost in a row last year for us and this will be her seasonal debut, lets see if she can give Mr Pocket a run for his money. We will all be watching to see. Our stable jockey Eoin Walsh gets the leg up for owner and breeder Manor Farm Stud.
