Robert Cowell Racing News

Four on Friday

Our first two runners head to Newbury for racing this afternoon, first off at 2.35 pm in the 96-110 5 furlong Handicap and making his seasonal debut and for the first time in the colours of Mrs Morley runs Blue De Vega he has been working nicely here and is certainly ready for his season to start. He is an exciting horse to watch and he certainly has the ability. Good luck to Mrs Morley and PJ McDonald who gets the leg up today. Reeves is up next in the 3.40 pm 81-100 Handicap Stakes over 7 furlongs, he won his last race last year at Doncaster on similar ground so should show up well again today but its a big competitive field fingers crossed for Raul Da Silva and Mrs Fitri Hay. Then we head to Kempton Park where Hooflepuff starts the proceedings in the 4.35 pm 46-55 Handicap over 1 mile, this looks to be the perfect race for him so he should be there or thereabouts today, Luke Morris is on board in the Cool Silk Partnership colours. Lastly Adam Tiler heads to post at 6.15 pm in the 6 furlong Novice, he showed great improvement at the end of last year and we look forward to seeing him back out for the first time since October. Apprentice Cieren Fallon gets the leg up for Mr Tom Morley.
