Epsom Downs & Chantilly . . .
We have a trio of runners on Saturday . . . FREE ZONE and NORMAL EQUILIBRIUM race at Epsom Downs on Derby Day . . . VICTORY LAUREL crosses the channel to race at Chantilly in the evening . . .
FREE ZONE is a very new recruit to us. His owners decided to move him south to Newmarket and we are delighted to have such a horse join our string. This weekend he makes his début for us at Epsom Downs in the 3.15pm, Investec ‘Dash’ over 5f. It is a very fast and furious contest, but certainly a good opportunity for him. He will be partnered with 3lb claimer, Robert Tart on this occasion for the Fromthestable.com, Mckay and Mcbride partnership. We look forward to seeing him action . . . NORMAL EQUILIBRIUM will then race in the 5.25pm, the last race on the card. He is in super form, having been unlucky on his last two starts in big, class 2 to fields and having won at Lingfield Park previous to that. The course is an unknown to him, however if her handles it we hope to see him run a big race once again . . . He will have Jim Crowley in control on Saturday in the Yellow and Black colours of Mr T Morley & Mrs J Morley . . . VICTORY LAUREL headed over to France early this morning in preparation for his race on Saturday at Chantilly in the 8.00pm (local time), Prix Hampton, 5f Listed event. He will have French Jockey T Thulliez on board in the well known colours of Qatar Racing Limited . . . Having been off the race track for a while, he has since been gelded and had a winter holiday. He is fine condition at home and once again we will learn plenty following this weekend . . .
