Duo At Bath Today . . .

We send two fillies down to Bath today for the first two races on the card . . .

QUIET BEAUTY will be up first in the 2.05pm, 5 furlong Maiden Stakes . . . We drop her back to the minimum trip today.  Of which will be very different for her, having raced just twice over 7 furlongs on both occasions, however we think it will suit her.  She travels beautifully, with her long stride and has plenty of speed to match . . .

JUMEIRAH STAR will then race in the 2.40pm, two-year-old Fillies only Maiden, again over the minimum trip . . . We were delighted with her on her début at Chelmsford City ten days ago – She had quite a poor draw, broke slightly slowly and then came wide around the bend.  Despite all that she ran with guts and gave her all.  She will have leant a huge amount from that experience and will enjoy the quick ground at Bath today . . .

Adam Beschizza takes both the rides . . .

Everyone in racing is gearing up to what is probably the most talked about and well known weeks in racing – Royal Ascot . . . On Sunday we will declare GODLREAM in to the Group 1 , King’s Stand Stakes on Tuesday, 16th June . . . It is hugely exciting to send him there, having won the Palace House stakes at Newmarket in May – Looking at PROHIBIT, our 2011, King’s Stand winner out in the paddocks here on the stud enjoying retirement, and his winners rug on the wall in our office – We are so looking forward to having another stab at bagging this prestigious Group 1 Sprint . . .
