Dark Diamond Back On The Flat . . .
DARK DIAMOND heads back to Southwell for a flat, 1m Maiden following his try over the sticks last month . . . Having run well at the end of 2014 over this course and distance, we then felt he had the scope to send him jumping. He schooled well over the hurdles and jumped well enough on his début in what was a competitive Maiden Hurdle at Fakenham. However he did not see the trip out and have dropped him back down today. This will be his third career start on the flat and will gain a handicap mark next week . . . Graham Gibbons is jocked up for us today in this four runner race at 4.10pm . . .
