A busy Saturday
Our first runners of the day head off the short distance to Newmarket for consecutive races. First to go at 4 pm in the 1 mile Novice Stakes is Caledonia Earl who makes his second appearance out on the tracks after making his debut at Windsor a couple of weeks ago, he is a tricky chap and we have been working hard with him here at home. If he breaks from the gates well we are hopeful the big field will give him the encouragement to keep going. Our stable jockey Jonny Fisher gets the leg up for Mr and Mrs Cage. Green Fortune tries his luck in the next race at 4.40 pm the 5 furlong 86-105 Handicap. This will be his debut for us and we are sure he is ready for the run out, its a small field and we are hopeful of a good shout from him. He is partnered by Daniel Muscatt in the silks of Saleh Al Homaizi & Imad Al Sagar.
Onto the Royal meeting at Ascot where Blue De Vega and Sir Robert Cheval head to post together in the exciting 6 furlong Wokingham Stakes Heritage Handicap at 5pm, the race has a rather hefty field of 28 runners, it will be full of hurly burly and will be an exciting race to watch. Good luck to Oisin Murphy onboard Blue De Vega in the claret silks of the Blue De Vega partnership and Gerald Mosse takes the reins of Sir Robert Cheval for the Heart of the South Racing syndicate.
Last but not least we head to Haydock Park with Justice Lady who makes her debut for the yard in the 6.45 pm 66-85 Fillies only Handicap over 6 furlongs. She is a lovely filly and we look forward to seeing her in action, its a competitive field so lets hope she breaks well and Jack Garrity gets her well involved in the action early on for owner Mr Robert Ng.
