Ascot today
First to go is Pocket Dynamo in the 3.55 pm Group 3 Merriebelle Commonwealth Cup Trial Stakes over 6 furlongs. He’s been super consistent for us over his usual 5 furlongs but we are sure he should stay the extra we have given him today. He is a super little pocket rocket.and we have no doubt James Doyle will give him a great ride for Phoenix Thoroughbreds
Onto the 5 pm 71-85 5 furlong Handicap we have two going to post together. Burford Brown is in great order and running well at home, he makes his second start for us and his first back on the turf, he is a hard working, genuine horse and should put in a good account of himself today. Good luck to the Ever Hopefuls and James Doyle. Leo Minor should like the ground and the trip and William Buick is back on board who won on him last year at Newmarket. He runs in the colours of Tom Morley who has had two winners already this week, lets see if they can make it three!
