Action Today . . .
Today we have three runners in classy races . . .
Kingsgate Native and Spirit Quartz made their way to Haydock Park this morning for the Group 2 Temple Stakes at 3.50pm. Kingsgate Native runs off the back of a fantastic performance in the Group 3, Palace House Stakes at Newmarket on Guineas weekend. He has his usual Jockey on board, Shane Kelly in the colours of Cheveley Park Stud. Spirit Quartz has George Baker in the saddle, carrying the Claret Qatar Racing Limited colours . . .
We also have Ubetterbegood at York in the Class 2 at 3.30pm. The ground is still Good, Good to Soft in places, with the chance of it drying up slightly to Good, which would be ideal for him. We feel he might like it faster rather than slower. He has Steve Drowne on board in the White colours of Malih Al Basti . . .
