A busy day at Chelmsford…
We head to Chelmsford City this afternoon with four runners. Our first Favre heads to post at 5.30 pm in the 7 furlong Novice Stakes, he makes only his second start and back on the same track but upped in trip. Tom Marquand gets the leg up in the silks of Phoenix Thoroughbreds. Next to race is Raucous owned by Tom Morley he takes on a small field in the 6 pm 86-100 Handicap over 7 furlongs, he has been runner up on his last two starts and should show up well again tonight, fingers crossed he can go one better. He will be ably ridden by apprentice Cieren Fallon. Last but not least Miracle Works and Zamjar finish off the evening together in the 5 furlong 71-85 Handicap, Zamjar made a pleasing return at Doncaster last month and won this race last year, he is ridden by Sylvestre Da Sousa in the colours of Mrs Morley. Miracle Works seems to relish the all weather winning over course and distance in February and backed up at Wolverhampton in March, lets hope he can make it three wins for us all today. Tom Marquand is back in the saddle for Tom Morley. Good luck to all owners, horses and connections.
